All in one

This blog contains some of the work we did for the FMP aka North Star

Production dairy

Term One

• Got into groups, Leader = Stuart Clarke, Level design = Chris Williams, Story = Jono, Programming = Tyler Lane, 3d modeller = Scott Byard.
• Did concept work/ art and research.
• Possibly started production.

Term Two

• Continuing with production possibly.
• Continuing talking and discussing about the game.
• Changed idea from 2.5D to full 3D.
• Made 3D assets.

Term Three

• Continuing with production work.
• Made more 3D assets.
• Many problems arise but all are sorted.

Term Four

• Audio recording
• More 3D assets made for finishing up.
• End of the year.


That's just rough overview of whats happened. I did some basic stuff like the 9MM case and as my skills grew I started more complex objects. Such as a a bed,a table, a PlayStation's but mocked so I couldn't get sued. I went to make a box of crayons and a Lego man, But after a while I decided to make trophies for each worker for the game and made trophies for each person. Some simple like some graffiti on a wall, and going as complication as a robot on a stand surrounded in bullets.
I did majority of the 3d assets even though it wasn't my job to start with. I am a jack of all trade type of person. But I have 1 strength and 1 weakness due to it, I'm good at using 3DS max but the weakness is that I am not any good at UDK. I did 3d modelling due to the person was supposed to do it, hardly did anything and I took their job and this is the reason that I think I'm good at 3DS max.
